We're looking for a talented Advanced Practice Provider (APP) to join our interdisciplinary peri-operative team, managing the care of adult patients recovering from interventional radiology and surgical procedures across multiple PACUs. This role also involves responding to Rapid Response and MOD calls, and overseeing the recovery of Bone Marrow Aspirations under sedation outside the PACU. Collaborate with physicians and healthcare team members to deliver care for post-operative patients with varying levels of acuity and surgical complexity.
Ensure the delivery of exemplary care and cultivate an environment that centers on the needs of patients and their families
Serve as a clinical authority and resource -providing education and consultation to healthcare team members.
Participate in process improvement initiatives, implementation of patient education, and clinical support programs
Key Qualifications:
Current New York State (NYS) RN and FNP licenses/registrations
NYS prescriptive privileges (or eligibility)
2-3+ years of related clinical experience within PACU, critical care, ICU, RRT, or MOD required
Related National NP certification
BLS, ACLS required PALS preferred but can be obtained during orientation
OR
Graduate from an accredited PA program
NCCPA certification
Active NYS license or be qualified for state licensure
A minimum of 2-3 years within PACU, critical care, ICU, RRT, or MOD required
BLS, ACLS required PALS preferred but can be obtained during orientation

Hours: 12 hour shifts, flexed 13 shifts per month with weekend/holiday rotation
